Child of Loneliness, Keeper of Shattered Souls

I am known to mortals as the emptiness that consumes them when their hearts break, their trust betrayed, their life made meaningless, their dreams made into nightmares. I am the sadness that brings tears to eyes and the numbness that comes after the pain. I am emptiness and loneliness. And though no one has come to know me otherwise, I am the guardian of those who walk a lonely path, the keeper of shattered souls.
