Mud-World: The MUD-world can be considered all of the rooms in the MUD. The world is made up of areas, which are collections of rooms with a common theme. The rooms are linked together in a map-like fashion and are intended to give the feel of walking through a town, forest, cave, or whatever. Exits are like tunnels connecting rooms, some of which have doors which can be locked, unlocked, or hidden, while others are just an open passage. The descriptions of the rooms create the image in the head of the viewer as they wander throughout the world, and are as descriptive or plain as the writer wants them to be. |
