The Druid

Keepers of trees and the lakes, the druids are the true children of Azhure, nature, on whom they call upon for aid and succor. Their power is intertwined with that of the land, their bond the catalyst that gives them the ability to influence the different aspects of nature. In return for these gifts, the druids have designated themselves guardians of the realm, thus making it their duty to protect and nourish the land. They hold trees, particularly the oak, as sacred.

Druids have more attack spells then clerics most common being those which use plants and vines to entangle and poison. Like clerics they do not use edged weapons such as daggers and swords but may sometimes use curved blades such as the sycthe which is used for cutting herbs and crops. Their default skills include:

Hand to hand  - the art of fighting without a weapon
Scrolls  - allows you to study and cast magics written on parchment
Scan  - allows you to look before you leap

Animal  - summons the powers of nature's animals
Land  - summons that offers resistance to the elements
Plant  - summons that call on the vegetation

Seasons:
Spring  - summons related to the vernal seasons
Summer  - summons related to the summer seasons
Autumn  - summons related to the autumnal seasons
Winter  - summons related to the winter seasons
