Roleplaying a Draconian: Draconians are by nature and through years of misunderstood treatment, evolved into an almost pure warrior race. They excel at melee combat, using finesse, intellect and sheer strength to push the tide in their favour. There has been known to be a draconian thief or two, but most shun this way of life as it contradicts with their sense of honor. Even though draconians have the possibility to become adept clerics, or even spellfilchers, they will usually stay away from these paths, instead preferring more combat-oriented ways of life. As a draconian, you'd most likely want to rp as an either cautious or aggressive fighter. The cautious type would like to learn more about life, preferring to rely on intellect, whilst the aggressive supports himself on strength and physical prowess. As a result of the draconians' painful past and paranoid nature they are deeply suspicious of other races, who they either consider their inferiors or their persecutors; this leads to a dark heart and thus an alignment more evil then good. Due to their rigid code, most draconians tend to follow the lawful path and it is unlikely for them to stray from that path. What most marks the draconian however is their great reverence for their dragon ancestors and they live their life hoping these ancestors will one day deem them worthy enough to be recognized as kin. |
