Roleplaying an Avian: Avians are, as a general rule, an intelligent race. They spend their time in study enjoying knowledge for its own sake. To these avians the realm is an oyster, a ripe morsel to pluck, taste and discover. Some however use their sharp minds as a tool, reveling in the power it brings. As an avian your character would tend towards a nature which is serious and quietly thoughtful. Your thirst for knowledge would be your consuming passion. You rarely hesitate to flaunt your knowledge to others through word or deed, delighting in knowing more than others and using the information to your advantage. Since most Avians seek knowledge for its own sake they usually follow the neutral path, shying from extreme alignments. There are two important qualities that mark an avian, first their shrewd minds which make them excellent merchants and tradesmen. Second is their thinly hidden dislike for the celestine race, who they believe challenge their dominance over the skies. |
